Thinking about the New Year

Thinking about the New Year ahead inspires me to put brush to paper and get some new pieces out of my head and into reality. I am going to do 3 small pieces this weekend. One will be the hips, leaves and branches from the apple tree next door, another will be the shadows on the snow and the grasses in a yard near by, and the last is a Boston sky-line scene that has been in my head for weeks.
