Make your own scratch art

Here are some process photos for making your own scratch art- from scratch! For best results use smooth cardboard and acrylic craft paint from a bottle. The brand of crayons doen't matter, but Crayola does have great colors. Light colors show up the best. Make sure to let the acrylic paint dry completely before trying to scrape it off with the paperclip. If you make a mistake and scratch off too much, just paint over it!
Have fun! Send me some of your results, I'd love to post some here.

I loved it too- although I wish I had known then that I could cover any mistakes with either marker or paint. I would love to see one you did! Happy scratching:-)
